To implement the global ethical framework for artificial intelligence, UNESCO launched Women4Ethical AI, a collaborative platform supporting governments and companies in ensuring women’s equal participation in the design and deployment of AI. The platform brings together 17 leading women experts from academia, civil society, the private sector and regulatory bodies around the world. They will share research findings and contribute to a repository of good practices. The platform will advance non-discriminatory algorithms and data sources and encourage girls, women and under-represented groups to participate in AI.
