Welcome to the website of the UNESCO Chair on AI in Education at Beijing Normal University. It provides institutional news, academic event information and learning-resource discovery. These terms explain reasonable use of the website; browsing does not waive rights provided by law.
1. Website services
Public content can be browsed directly. Public membership registration is not available. Access conditions for learning platforms, event registration and partner services are governed by their current official pages and specific rules. Maintenance, security work and content changes may affect functions; changes materially affecting users require appropriate notice under applicable law.
2. Responsible use and academic integrity
Follow applicable law, academic integrity requirements and activity rules, and respect privacy and intellectual property. Do not use the website for unlawful activity, impersonation, interference with systems, circumvention of access controls or unauthorised commercial promotion. When using AI-generated material, code or teaching resources, verify facts, consider bias and suitability, and acknowledge sources as required by the course or activity.
3. Content rights and reuse
Rights in original, republished and partner materials belong to their respective lawful holders. The website copyright notice does not change third-party ownership or mean that all content may be freely copied, adapted or used commercially. Follow any open licence attached to an individual resource. Where permission is not specified, use material lawfully and obtain further permission when needed. Retain authorship, attribution and required notices.
For concerns about attribution, permission or other rights, use Contact Us and provide the specific link, an explanation and necessary evidence of rights. The team will review and handle the matter under applicable law.
4. External resources and historical information
Links to external platforms, products and projects support academic exchange and resource discovery. Inclusion alone is not a commercial recommendation, institutional endorsement or guarantee of continued availability. Check providers’ current prices, licences, age requirements and account conditions. Some campus resources require the appropriate network environment.
Read historical roles, figures and event arrangements in the context of the original publication date. Registration, payment, meeting links and contact details for past events may have expired. Verify the organiser’s current notice before paying or submitting information.
5. Content quality and responsibility
The team takes reasonable steps to check content and make necessary corrections when errors are identified. Research views, resource descriptions and translations should be assessed against original sources and the intended context; they are not promises of particular teaching outcomes or project results. The website remains responsible as required by law. These terms do not exclude liability or user rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Privacy, contact and applicable rules
See the Privacy Policy for personal information handling. Send enquiries, corrections, rights requests and other feedback to unescochair.aied@bnu.edu.cn. Concerns may first be discussed with the team, without limiting access to competent authorities or other lawful remedies under applicable laws of the People’s Republic of China. The Chinese and English versions are intended to be consistent; please contact the team about any difference in understanding.
