AIGC Online Training Enhances Contestants’ Technology Application Capabilities

Day 3-AIGC Applications: Use LLMs to generate MidJourney prompts for drawing the future classroom

To boost participants’ design prowess and innovation, the organizing committee of the 7th Global Competition on Design for Future Education hosted a three-day online training course on Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) from May 15 to 17, 2024. The event attracted participants from various regions eager to enhance their technological capabilities.

Overview of AIGC Online Training Course

Led by esteemed professionals, the training featured WANG Huanhuan, an assistant professor of Beijing Normal University and Focal Contact of UNESCO Chair on Artificial Intelligence in Education, DA Ting, a postdoctoral fellow at BNU, and ZHANG Ran, technical director at Technical Director of SketchUp Greater China of Trimble Inc.  Utilizing synchronous and asynchronous learning methods, the course ensured each participant could effectively learn at their own pace. WANG Huanhuan and DA Ting provided theoretical insights and practical guidance, while ZHANG Ran, drawing from rich industry experience, offered technical expertise.

Participants delved into the foundational aspects of AIGC, acquiring essential knowledge on its principles and practical usage for designing competition entries.

Day 1 – AIGC foundations: Classification of Large Language Models (LLMs)

Contestants honed their skills and learned application techniques, including how to write prompts and leveraging AIGC tools for tasks such as searching information, designing images, drafting paragraphs, brainstorming, and developing PPT.

Day 2 – AIGC Basic Skills: Prompt Template

The training concluded with advanced skill development and practical applications, featuring innovative integrations with SketchUp series products and AIGC’s capabilities in content creation across various mediums.

Day 3 – AIGC Applications: Call OpenAI’s API to automatically generate SketchUp Ruby code and execute it
